Our brief was to design a sensitive extension to a charming, Listed Guernsey cottage on a quiet rural lane. The existing two storey house has gained an additional bedroom and a new vaulted kitchen and living space neatly tucked behind the existing house, with fantastic views over the large garden plot. This extended family home also has a new granite faced double garage. Planning permission for this extension to a protected building was received seven weeks after submission of the application.
